Our regular Mass schedule has resumed with limited seating capacity. Masks must be worn properly, covering mouth AND nose at all times in the Church. The Mass Schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday: 6:45AM and 8:30AM Saturday: 8:30AM Sunday: 4:00PM (Sat. Vigil); 7AM ; 8AM ; 9:30AM ; 11:00AM ; and 7PM The 8:00AM Sunday Mass in ITALIAN has resumed. The mass is now being said in Italian once again. Seating is only limited to 25% capacity -- about 100 to 125 people. Once that number is reached at a Mass any additional worshipers will be asked to attend a later Mass. Confessions have returned to the regular schedule: Sat. 9AM and 3-4PM Funeral Masses, Weddings, and Baptisms have also resumed. Please follow posted directions regarding social distancing, seating instructions, and crowd sizes.
Hello Parishioners and Friends. As you know, we are ever humbled by and grateful for your support of our parish life here at St. Benedict’s. It’s always our pleasure to serve you and provide you with a welcoming spiritual home. You should be aware though (because this is your parish after all) that this time of social distancing will be hard on our parish financially, as it will be hard on many families and businesses. Our parish relies on our weekly collections to be able to pay our utility bills and pay our staff members....
Perhaps it is the intercession of our own Cardinal Cooke but, St. Benedict’s Parish has many great distinctions among the parishes of the Bronx and probably throughout the Archdiocese...

Being a good neighbor is important! Our parish church must also be a good neighbor. This does not mean only Fr. Dan and myself, but all of you! We cannot block the driveways of our neighbors! I know parking is difficult, but we must remember to be good neighbors...
