Hello Parishioners and Friends. As you know, we are ever humbled by and grateful for your support of our parish life here at St. Benedict’s. It’s always our pleasure to serve you and provide you with a welcoming spiritual home. You should be aware though (because this is your parish after all) that this time of social distancing will be hard on our parish financially, as it will be hard on many families and businesses. Our parish relies on our weekly collections to be able to pay our utility bills and pay our staff members....
Perhaps it is the intercession of our own Cardinal Cooke but, St. Benedict’s Parish has many great distinctions among the parishes of the Bronx and probably throughout the Archdiocese...

Being a good neighbor is important! Our parish church must also be a good neighbor. This does not mean only Fr. Dan and myself, but all of you! We cannot block the driveways of our neighbors! I know parking is difficult, but we must remember to be good neighbors...
