Serving God and Neighbor
My Dear Parish Family:
I am very excited and pray you will join me in thejoy of welcoming the travelling image of Our Lady Of Fatima to our parish this coming Tuesday, November 19th. I am excited because I know Our Lady will send our parish family many graces and blessings through her time with us.
What struggles do you have in your life? What problems are with your family? What sins and struggles are most heavy in your life? Our Lady of Fatima is here for you. Our Lady wants us to know of her love for each of us. Mary is the Mother of God and our mother, too! There are no concerns, no troubles or problems that cannot be laid at the feet of Our Lady of Fatima because she will always help us - always!
We will only have the image of Our Lady of Fatima at our Church for a few hours on Tuesday so please make every effort to come and spend time in prayer. We will not open the Adoration Chapel on Tuesday because we will focus our prayer time for the day in the main Church. The schedule has been in the bulletin for a few weeks and is again in this week’s bulletin, as well as on the webpage.
We will have a special 12 Noon Mass on Tuesday in honor of Our Lady, the Mother of priests. We will be praying for an increase of holiness and dedication among all priests. Please come to Church on Tuesday, November 19th for some special time with Our Lady of Fatima.
While the parish is praying in front of the image of Our Lady of Fatima, the young men and women preparing to receive Confirmation this year will be on retreat with Fr. Dan. We will be praying for them, especially in front of the image of Our Lady of Fatima. Please remember our Confirmation students in your prayers always, but especially on Tuesday. Our young people are under so much pressure, especially in the area of their Faith. We want all our children (teenagers and young adults) to know God. We want them to know and believe that God loves them very much. God wants them to be good and holy in this world so that they will be able to live one day in Heaven with Jesus and Mary. The best way we can lead our children and grandchildren to Jesus is through our Blessed Mother Mary. Please never stop praying for our children (our teenagers and young adults.)
Until next week, peace and prayers!
St. Benedict and Cardinal Cooke, Servant of God, pray for us!
